The wedding of Lindsey & Mervyn at The Royal Hotel, Cookstown with photos at Killymoon Castle.
I arrived at Mervyn's parent's house and was pleasantly surprised to find that there was no stress and no shouting... very different from the norm! Everyone was completely chilled out having breakfast, and after I took a few photos around the house, I got back in my car and drove down the road to find Lindsey. Maybe all of the stress for the day would lie on her shoulders instead?
However it soon became apparent that there wasn't much stress in house number two either. After some preparation photos we went into the garden for a few family snaps before it was soon time to go down to Cookstown for the ceremony.
Mervyn arrived very early which turned out to be a good thing as Lindsey showed up not too far behind! I don't think some of my brides understand the 'fashionably late' idea but I'm certainly not complaining and it was nice to have such a relaxed couple to work with. Mervyn told me that they have been together for so long that he had nothing to worry about and remained cool as a cucumber the whole way through the ceremony. Top man!
After the ceremony we drove to Killymoon Castle which is a stunning location for photographs. We were given access to the grounds and the inside of the building which made for some great shots on the staircase. It started to get a little bit dark and cloudy by the time we were leaving but thankfully the rain stayed away just long enough.
Back to the Royal Hotel for a few more photos in the garden and of the brilliant wedding cake before I left Lindsey & Mervyn to enjoy the evening with all of their guests.
