Small selection from Megan & Steven's super sunny wedding at Ballydugan Mill.
I arrived at The Mill on a very warm day in June and got straight to work photographing the surrounding area. Megan & Steven had arranged lots of little details around the rooms with a signing globe for their guests and family photos everywhere.
The four bridesmaids appeared outside and I got some photos with them before we eagerly awaited the arrival of Megan. Unfortunately due to a little miscommunication she arrived slightly late but there was no need to rush and we had all afternoon together after the ceremony.
Megan's dad Colin walked her down the aisle but also had another special job on the day because he was in charge of the ceremony too. A very unique and personal way to get married... if a little extra nerve-racking for Steven!
After a few readings, the new Mr & Mrs signed the register and everyone headed back outside to give their congratulations and enjoy the sunshine with their ice cream. Once hugs and had been given and hands had been shaken, we had no trouble lining everyone up for some group shots on the grass. Afterwards, the bride and groom walked down the road with me for their photos and a little peace and quiet by the lake before the speeches and meal began.
This was my first (and hopefully not my last) trip to The Mill as it's a beautiful location for photographs within the grounds or by the lake. I just hope the weather is as good on my next visit!
